Overview of DoT

Planit DoT is a centralised data platform that seamlessly integrates with existing delivery and test tools and provides a consolidated view of your quality health. This enables DoT to be used as a reporting, analytics, and insights tool to measure your projects for the purpose of continuous improvements.

DoT is hosted on AWS by Planit and access will be provided to our clients. This document will highlight the architecture of DoT and provide context into how your tools will integrate.

Early Adopter Program

DoT v1.0 is now available to clients and Planit are identifying strategic partners to work with. As such DoT will be running the early adopter program until the third quarter of 2024. The goal of the program is to provide a smaller set of customers with personalised implementations and consultation with a view to making DoT a valuable asset for Early Adopters as well as Planit.

Early adopters will have direct access to the DoT development team via dot.support@planit.com for support and will have access to the following through Planit engagements.

  • Access to Premium integration and consulting services.
  • Support for CI integration and setting up data connectors.
  • Support for reviewing and growing a metrics program.
  • Monthly catchups to review current DoT progress.
  • Monthly catchups to review blockers, security approvals on client side.
  • Support with identifying target pilot project or improvements.
  • Support with creating a shared plan to implement in 3 to 6 months pending improvements and internal security assessment on client side.
  • DoT will remain free for first 12 months or as agreed with Planit Account Director.

During the Early Adopter program, Planit will guide the onboarding process for new clients, while we implement the DIY features and configuration.

Planit also recognises that clients will need internal security teams to review and approve the use of DoT.
